Lunas 2023-2024 Season
The Jacksonville Lunas, the all female youth hockey program of Jacksonville Icemen (ECHL) and partners with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) are excited to announce the 2023-2024 teams.
We are committed to providing beginners to experienced female hockey players with age-appropriate, elite programming that allows all players the opportunity to reach their potential and pursue their dreams. Through discovery, learning and guidance we will develop better athletes and better people while creating lifelong memories, friendships and fans of the game.
A luna wolf is the alpha female of the pack. She's the female counterpart to the alpha male. The luna wolf is the only one who leads but will get help from other female wolves in the pack. The word luna means “moon” in Latin, and the luna wolf symbolizes the moon's cycles of change.
The Jacksonville Lunas will offer club teams at the 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under and 16 & Under age groups that will compete in the Southern Girls Hockey League (SGHL).
