The Community First Igloo is excited to announce that Coach Amanda Michaud will be joining the Igloo programs as an On Ice Skills Coach for learn to skate, learn to play, recreational and travel programs.
Amanda is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach and has over 5 years of experience coaching youth hockey. Before moving to Jacksonville, Amanda was an assistant coach for the Arizona Coyotes Development Program, Arizona Kachinas Girls Youth Hockey program, and Small Frys Learn to Play Program. She has experience coaching from 8U-19U levels.
Amanda grew up in Maine and played hockey for Lewiston High School as well as the 14U-16U Casco Bay Tier II travel program. She played collegiate hockey for Wilkes University (ACHA) in Pennsylvania.
“We are happy to bring Amanda into the Igloo hockey programs,” said Paul Esdale Director of Hockey Operations. “Amanda has great energy and connection with the kids. She is a welcomed addition to the new culture and program in Jacksonville and will help facilitate transformational experiences for players and families,” said Esdale.
