Lunas 2026-2027 Season

Jacksonville, FL - The Jacksonville Lunas, the all female youth hockey program of Jacksonville Icemen (ECHL) and partners with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) are excited to announce the 2026-2027 teams and tryout times for the upcoming fall travel season.  

The Jacksonville Lunas will offer club teams from 10 & Under, 12 & Under and  16 & Under, that compete in the Southern Girls Hockey League (SGHL). 

For the upcoming season, the Lunas will field teams in the 8U/10U, 12U, 14U and 16U divisions, continuing their commitment to providing female hockey players with elite, age-appropriate programming. The program is dedicated to fostering an environment where players can reach their full potential, build lifelong friendships, and develop a lasting love for the game.

“We’re incredibly proud of the rapid growth of girls’ hockey and the amazing strides our Lunas players have made in just a few short seasons,” said Amanda Michaud, Head Coach of the Lunas program. “The progress we’re seeing is a testament to their commitment, passion, and love for the game. We’re excited to keep building this momentum as we continue developing confident, high-level female hockey players—on and off the ice.”

Director of Hockey Operations Paul Esdale added, “The Lunas have grown into a premier girls hockey program, and we’re extremely proud of the standard our athletes set every time they step on the ice. Their level of play, commitment to development, and competitive mindset continue to separate this program.”
