The Community First Igloo is excited to announce that Coach Lauren Kelly will be joining the Igloo programs as an On Ice Skills Coach.
Lauren will be involved in youth hockey programming from Learn to Play, Rec Programs and Jr. Icemen Travel programs.
Lauren was a four-year member of the Dartmouth Women’s Ice Hockey team, during which she was awarded the Sarah Kennedy Award for her dedication and commitment to the university and the sport.
During her tenure with the Big Green, she was also named to the ECAC All-Academic Team. Prior to her collegiate career, Lauren was a member of Team Canada’s Under-18 Team for the 2009 Series vs Team USA, and won the 2009 Canadian National U-18 Championship with Team Ontario Red.
“We are excited to bring Lauren into the hockey program at the Igloo,” said Paul Esdale Director of Hockey Operations. “Lauren brings passion and a love for the game that fits perfectly with the culture of the organization. She will be a great role model for all our players in the community and will help grow the game in NorthEast Florida”, said Esdale.
